HTC Desire
The HTC Desire is the new and amazing phone from the HTC family. It was launched after the HTC Legend and is bigger, faster and more powerful. It has the Android punch like that of the Legend. The phone comes with a large screen but this does not make the phone look huge and weighty. There are four buttons on the front side of the phone, which are set in a very attractive way with aluminium. The phone has an optical track pad, which is tuned to register the finger motion over the sensors.
HTC Desire Features
Eye-catching display
The HTC Desire has a very slim look and it has a dimension of about 119 X 60 X 119 mm. It is also very light weight and weighs just about 133 grams. Due to the dimensions and the weight, the phone is sleek to look at and very comfortable to hold. There are four buttons on the top of the phone – Home, Back, Menu and Search. Apart from these four buttons on the phone, there is also a terminator track pad that acts like an enter key. The two-tone finish makes the phone look much smaller than it is.
Easy and smooth navigation
On the left side of the phone are the up and down buttons of the phone and there is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the top side of the device. The phone also has a power button, which acts as the lock key. The phone has a micro SD slot, which is at the bottom of the phone. The card can be used to expand the memory of the phone.
User-friendly interface
The screen of the phone is simply amazing and it beautifully brings out the colours. The screen measures about 3.7 inches and is a good size to browse the internet and to enjoy the media features. The phone screen registers the slightest of touch, which makes it even more user-friendly.
The phone has a compact and sleek design and is a perfect business phone. The best feature of the phone is a Sense UI interface. HTC has put forth massive efforts in designing the device and added its own options and widgets. As a default setting, a large display clock is included in the phone and the phone also displays the weather of the area. The fact that makes it technologically brilliant is that phone changes its colour with the weather. The screen shines if it is sunny and there is a wiper as well to clear water droplets in case it rains. Again, the screen turns cloudy if the weather is foggy.
Other features you will simply admire
Some of the other advantages of the phone are the dual band 3G support and quad band GSM. The touch screen is easy to use and has a 16 M colour captive AMOLED screen. The build quality is great and the profile slim, which makes it simply irresistible. The HTC Desire has a ROM of 512 MB and a RAM of 576 MB. The capacitive display makes the phone react even to the gentlest taps.
The phone is equipped with a 5 mega pixel camera and has features like geo-tagging and LED flash. It comes with a 4GB card to expand the memory and proximity sensor and accelerometer as well. The HTC Desire has a 3.5 mm audio jack and a stereo Fm radio and also the features of smart dialling.
The navigation features and the media applications run smoothly on the phone. The phone is great for the purpose of social networking as well and you can easily get connected to FaceBook, Twitter and the like even on the move. You may as well share videos and photos and also use YouTube and Flickr.
To sum up
The phone is feature rich and gives a great impression when one gets a hang and feel of it. With amazing speed, high-end features, amazing looks, the handset is surely a treat for the gadget-freaks who feels that their phone is more than just a calling and messaging device. Though there is a slight room for improvement, the claim falls true for any technological device that brings home stunning brainwork and captivating design.
